Udacity believes mentorship is critical to student success. As a Mentor Community Specialist, you’ll play a key role in nurturing and growing our network of talented mentors.

Responsibilities

Mentor Community Management: Build relationships with our network of independent contractor mentors, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
Community Engagement & Growth: Develop and host mentor events, measure their impact, and find new ways to expand and diversify our mentor pool.
Support & Query Management: Provide prompt and effective support to mentors, addressing their questions and concerns.
Communication & Advocacy: Act as a bridge between mentors and internal teams, ensuring mentor voices are heard and their experience is continually improved.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
Proven experience in community management, ideally in a tech or education setting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a knack for building relationships.
Problem-solving skills and the ability to handle inquiries with empathy and efficiency.
Strategic mindset with a creative approach to growing the mentor community.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational and multitasking skills.
