The Integrated Test Range (ITR), a premier laboratory of DRDO, is inviting applications for Research Fellowships (JRF) and Research Associate (RA) positions.
DRDO ITR Chandipur: Walk-in Interview
Research Areas:
- Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE)
- Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (ETC)
- Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (E&I)
- Applied Electronics and Instrumentation Engineering (A, E & I)
- Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) or Information Technology (IT)
Number of Vacancies:
- JRF: 1 (To be intimated later)
- RA: 3
Eligibility
JRF:
- B.E. / B.Tech. in ECE (first division) with valid GATE score.
- M.E. / M.Tech. in relevant fields (first division).
RA:
- M.E. / M.Tech. in relevant fields with 3+ years of research/teaching experience and at least one research paper published in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) Journal.
Age Limit:
- JRF: 28 years (as of June 5, 2024) with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
- RA: 35 years (as of June 5, 2024) with relaxation for SC/ST/OBC candidates.
Selection Process
Applications will be shortlisted based on qualifications. Shortlisted candidates will be interviewed through video conferencing or in-person mode.

Fellowship Details
- JRF: Rs. 37,000 per month with HRA and medical facilities.
- RA: Rs. 67,000 per month with HRA and medical facilities.
Tenure
- JRF: Maximum 5 years (2 years initial, 3 years as SRF subject to performance).
- RA: Maximum 2 years.
