As an Associate within the Social Media team at Meesho, you’ll collaborate with internal and external creative partners to manage content and influencer partnerships across Meesho’s Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat channels. Additionally, you’ll contribute to executing 360 surround initiatives during key brand campaigns and tentpole events.

Requirements

  • Customer-Centric Approach: Place the customer at the core of every decision, discerning insights from observations.
  • Strategic Social Media Knowledge: Understand social media KPIs and platforms’ user behaviors for effective brand building.
  • Appreciation of Creativity: Write clear, actionable creative briefs and evaluate creative outputs accordingly.
  • Understanding of Bharat’s Content Consumption: Identify with content preferences in tier 2 & 3+ towns.
  • Planning and Execution Skills: Efficiently plan and execute multiple streams of work with error-free, timely execution. Possess strong stakeholder management abilities for effective communication.

Responsibilities

  • Campaign Creation and Execution: Assist in crafting and implementing social media campaigns across various platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and Snapchat.
  • Audience Engagement: Monitor and engage with the social media audience by responding to comments and messages.
  • Performance Analysis: Track and analyze social media metrics to evaluate campaign success and adjust strategies as necessary.
  • Trend Monitoring: Stay updated with social media trends to enhance the social media strategy.
  • Agency Collaboration: Work closely with agencies to ensure campaign success.
  • Brand Advocacy: Act as a brand advocate and ensure all social media content aligns with the brand voice and values.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, journalism, or a related field.
  • 1-3 years of experience in social media marketing, demonstrating success in developing and executing effective campaigns.
  • Growth mindset and strong ownership sense.
  • Data-driven approach.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to write engaging social media copy and interact professionally with customers.
  • Demonstrated creativity and passion for social media.
  • Proficiency with social media management tools.
  • Strong analytical skills, capable of interpreting social media metrics to make data-driven decisions.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
