The West Central Railway (WCR) is inviting applications for engagement of Apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961.
Who can Apply?
- Candidates who have completed 15 years of age and are not older than 24 years as of August 5, 2024 (relaxation for reserved categories applies).
- Minimum educational qualification: 10th class pass with 50% marks (except for Medical Laboratory Technician trade).
- Candidates with disabilities (PwBD) are encouraged to apply (specific requirements apply).
Number of Positions Available
A total of 3317 apprenticeship slots are available across various units and trades. Refer to Annexure “A” of the official notification for details.
Selection Process
Selection will be based on a merit list prepared using marks obtained in the 10th class examination and ITI/Trade marks (if applicable).
