About the Role
Become a KYC Analyst and fight financial crime!
As a KYC (Know Your Customer) Analyst, you’ll be responsible for ensuring compliance with regulations and policies related to customer identification and due diligence. You’ll play a vital role in preventing money laundering, fraud, and other financial crimes.
Here’s what you’ll be doing:
- Verify the identity of new customers by collecting and analyzing documentation (government IDs, proof of address, etc.)
- Assess customer risk based on industry, location, transaction patterns, and business activities
- Conduct thorough due diligence to ensure customer activities comply with legal and regulatory requirements
- Liaise with KYC policies and procedures to maintain consistent compliance understanding
- Identify areas for improvement in efficiency and member experience
- Provide support within the business as needed
What we’re looking for
- Over 1 year of experience in KYC/compliance (preferably in a highly regulated environment)
- Strong understanding and application of UK regulatory requirements
- Solid understanding and hands-on experience with CDD and EDD processes
- Experience working with Google Sheets
- Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze data and identify patterns
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively, make sound decisions, and adapt to various work styles
