Job Description:
As a Data Analyst Intern, you will be responsible for the following:
- Collaborating with business teams to enhance value and drive business impact through improved data availability, visualization, and analysis.
- Exploring, analyzing, and interpreting trends in complex datasets to provide valuable insights to senior management.
- Defining data needs and quality standards, working closely with Data Engineers to ensure data accuracy and alignment with business requirements.
Education Required:
- Any graduation
Skills:
- Understanding of SQL querying and database structures to extract necessary data for analysis.
- Ability to tell compelling stories and create powerful visualizations to effectively communicate findings to stakeholders.
- Expertise in analyzing large datasets, drawing business insights, and presenting analysis in reports and presentations.
- Experience in identifying root causes of problems, assessing risks, and implementing effective solutions.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, including pivot tables and functions, for exploratory analysis.
Good to Have Requirements:
- Developer experience with data visualization tools like Looker, Tableau, or Periscope.
- Basic understanding of another coding language, preferably Python or R.
