The Role
Be a Customer Hero!
Join PhonePe’s in-house Customer Experience team as an ONDC specialist. You’ll be the first line of defense for customers, resolving their issues and ensuring a smooth experience. You’ll also play a key role in identifying areas for improvement and suggesting ways to streamline support systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service, prioritizing their needs in every interaction
- Assist with basic PhonePe account and transaction queries
- Work efficiently across phone and digital communication channels
- Follow established procedures to effectively resolve customer issues
- Build trust and rapport with customers through clear communication
- Meet daily and hourly performance targets
- Utilize internal resources to find solutions and drive resolutions
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams
- Recommend improvements to enhance the customer experience
- Educate customers on how to leverage PhonePe to its full potential

- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You’re a fast learner with a positive attitude
- You’re an active listener who can effectively handle objections
- You have a strong customer focus and can adapt to different situations
- You’re a team player who is flexible and open to feedback
- You can multitask, prioritize, and manage your time effectively
- You’re fluent in English and Hindi (South Indian languages a plus)
- You have a graduation degree (10+2+3)
- You have 0-2 years of experience in a customer-facing role (e-commerce or Q-commerce experience preferred)
