We’re looking for a highly skilled Software Engineer with expertise in Java Backend Development and a strong grasp of the Payments domain for our T23 Level position.

Our Payments Engineering team is responsible for maintaining PayPal’s secure, scalable, and compliant payments platform, enabling consumers and merchants to manage their finances efficiently. This role is within the post-payments team, a vital part of the Payments platform team.

- Provide 24×7 support for your applications and services when required.
Education Required: ANY GRADUATION
Skills:
- Expert in Java programming.
- Strong understanding of object-oriented design, data structures, algorithms, and design patterns.
- Proficiency in Spring, Hibernate RESTful API, and Services.
- Competency in designing and building Restful Services in a commercial environment.
- Exposure to NoSQL technology.
- Excellent communication and analytical skills.
- Preferably, experience with financial products.
- Familiarity with Agile methodology.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
