The NCCS, under the Department of Telecommunications, is seeking to recruit 8 Research Associates for their Research Associate Scheme. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or final year students in relevant fields to gain valuable experience in the field of communications security.
National Centre for Communications Security (NCCS) – Research Associate Positions
Here’s a breakdown of the key details:
Eligibility
- Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s Degree in Electronics, Communications, Telecommunications, Information Technology, Computers, or Electrical Engineering (with a major in Electronics/Communications/Computers) or a related field, with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA.
- Final Year Students: Final year students in the above-mentioned disciplines with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA can also apply. However, their selection will be provisional and subject to submitting their final year results by June 17th, 2024.

Contract and Remuneration
- Contract Duration: The initial contract will be for two years with a possible one-year extension based on performance.
- Salary: A consolidated monthly salary of Rs. 75,000/- will be paid on a pro-rata basis. There will be an annual increase of Rs. 7,500/- subject to satisfactory performance.
