The role involves researching and producing high-quality fact-check reports in adherence to strict editorial standards and deadlines. Fact checkers at Logically are responsible for addressing misinformation and working with various audiences, including website readers and private/public sector clients. Additionally, they collaborate with major social media companies to combat misinformation on their platforms.

Key Responsibilities:
- Identify misleading claims using various methods and platforms.
- Create original, high-quality fact-check reports within specified editorial guidelines and timeframes.
- Write news articles and long-form content related to misinformation/disinformation.
- Collaborate on content moderation and fact-checking projects with social media platforms.

Qualifications:
- A bachelor’s degree in any field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Hindi.
- A deep understanding of India’s political and media landscape.
- 0-2 years of professional experience in newsrooms, fact-checking, or editorial roles.
- Ability to research and produce original, high-quality fact-check reports within tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in identifying and flagging misleading claims using different methods.
- Strong analytical skills with an impartial and critical approach to complex and sensitive topics.
- Quick grasp of new and complex information.
Desirable Skills and Experience:
- Familiarity with fact-checking techniques and Open Source Intelligence (OSINT) methods.
- Knowledge of international fact-checking guidelines such as IFCN and EFCSN.
- Familiarity with the political and media landscape in India.
