The Indian Coast Guard is inviting applications for the post of Engine Driver on a direct recruitment basis. This is a government job with a competitive salary and benefits.
Key Responsibilities
As an Engine Driver, you will be responsible for:
- Operating diesel engines of 500 HP or more
- Maintaining and repairing marine diesel engines
- Ensuring the safe and efficient operation of marine vessels
Qualifications
- Matriculation or equivalent with a minimum of 50% marks
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or its equivalent
- At least 03 years of experience in operating diesel engines
- Valid driving license for heavy motor vehicles
Desirable Qualifications
- Experience in operating marine diesel engines
- Knowledge of marine diesel engine maintenance
