Position: Contact Centre Representative
HSBC: Remote (Hyderabad & Bangalore)
Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound customer calls, aiming for first-contact resolution and ensuring high-quality service.
- Address customer inquiries, understand their needs, and offer relevant products or solutions.
- Take ownership of customer issues, conducting necessary research, and following up appropriately.
- Meet individual targets while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
Key Duties:
- Respond to customer calls and emails promptly and courteously, resolving issues effectively.
- Manage customer complaints with empathy and aim for resolution on the first contact.
- Work towards achieving Call Centre KPIs both individually and as part of a team.
- Stay updated on product knowledge and provide accurate information to customers.
- Demonstrate strong communication skills and exhibit patience and empathy towards customers.
- Exhibit adaptability and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
- Uphold HSBC’s values and behaviors, promoting superior customer service.
Requirements:
- Education: Minimum 12th pass; diploma, graduation, or post-graduation preferred.
- Skills: Proficient in quality and customer satisfaction measures in a Contact Centre setting; excellent email and verbal communication; good prioritization and organizational skills; adaptable to change; domain knowledge preferred.
- Additional Skills: Completion of probation period; minimum ‘Good’ performance rating in the last two appraisals; specific tenure requirements for certain levels; submission of application form along with CV; communication with line managers; adherence to performance guidelines.
