The Andhra Pradesh government is seeking dedicated individuals to fill Grama Ward Volunteer positions. These volunteers will play a vital role in serving communities by assisting with various government programs and initiatives.

Who We’re Looking For
- Local Knowledge Preferred: We encourage applications from individuals residing within the specific ULB/Panchayat they are applying for.
- Committed and Performance-Driven: Selected volunteers will be paid a competitive honorarium of Rs. 10,000 per month based on performance.
- Diverse and Inclusive: We are committed to a diverse workforce and encourage applications from all qualified candidates. 50% of the positions within each category may be reserved for women.
Eligibility Requirements
- Age: 18 to 35 years old
- Education: Minimum qualification of a degree or equivalent
- Skills and Experience:
- Knowledge of government schemes, programs, and welfare activities
- Prior experience working with government welfare departments (a plus)
- Strong leadership qualities and communication skills
- Excellent soft skills
Selection Process
- Interview: All eligible applicants will be called for an interview. The selection committee will consist of the Municipal Commissioner/Tahasildar. Preference will be given to candidates residing within the designated Ward/Panchayat.
- Interview Evaluation: Each applicant will be evaluated based on four parameters (knowledge, experience, leadership, and soft skills), with each carrying 25 marks.
Training and Responsibilities
- Training: Selected volunteers will undergo a 2-day induction training program.
- Workload: One volunteer will be assigned to serve approximately 300 people.
- Meetings: Regular attendance at weekly mandal-level meetings is mandatory.
- Work Status: This is a full-time job position.
