Position: Technician (Grade II) – Job Details:
Location: Hyderabad, various Zonal Offices, and Project sites across India
Eligibility Criteria:
- Age: Maximum age for UR candidates is 27 years as of the last date of submission (13.04.2024).
- Qualification & Experience: Matriculation/SSC or equivalent with ITI certificate (NTC) and National Apprentice Certificate (NAC) OR Matriculation/SSC or equivalent with ITI certificate (NTC) and one-year relevant experience in manufacturing processes. ITI Certificate should be in Electronics Mechanic, Electrician, Machinist, or Fitter trades.
Emoluments & Benefits:
- Basic pay of Rs. 20,480/- per month with annual increments.
- Additional benefits include PF, Gratuity, Medical benefits, and Leave as per corporation rules.
Reservation of Posts:
- Reservations for SC/ST/OBC (NCL)/EWS/PwD and Ex-Servicemen as per Government of India Guidelines.
Relaxation & Exemption:
- Age relaxation for SC/ST, OBC, PwD, Ex-Servicemen, and candidates domiciled in Jammu & Kashmir.
- Exemption for specified candidates with desirable qualifications and relevant experience.
Mode of Selection:
- Two-stage selection process: Written test and trade test (No interview).
- Written test weightage: 85%, Trade test weightage: 15%, overall selection based on 60%.
Written Test Details:
- Tentatively conducted in cities like Bangalore, Chennai, Hyderabad, Mumbai/Nagpur, New Delhi/Noida, Kolkata.
- Question paper in English & Hindi, Multiple Choice Type.
- Negative marking: 0.25 marks for each wrong answer.
- Hall ticket available for download on the ECIL website.
