JOB DESCRIPTION:
Your primary responsibility will involve proofreading press releases crafted by our clients before distribution to the media. While you won’t be generating content from scratch, a solid command of syntax, punctuation, and the English language is essential for success in this role.
Keen attention to detail is imperative as you edit, format, and manage various client requests and other news-related content such as photos and videos. The ability to think quickly and prioritize tasks will be advantageous in our fast-paced, deadline-oriented setting.
Your proficiency in computer skills will facilitate swift adaptation to our internal systems. Given the dynamic nature of our environment, a flexible mindset and strong customer service orientation are vital.
As the primary point of contact for clients, your exceptional communication abilities and aptitude for understanding client needs will enable you to foster enduring relationships and establish a professional rapport while promptly addressing customer requirements.

Education Required:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred, with a B.A. in Communications, Journalism, English, or a related field considered advantageous.
Skills:
- Proficient in customer service, proofreading, communication, and keyboarding.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, and proficient in a Windows environment.
- Familiarity with Microsoft Excel, Word, and web applications is essential.
- Flexibility with schedule, including availability for overtime and holiday coverage, is required.
Salary: INR 4 Lakh plus variable benefits.
