Amazon’s Human Labeled Data (HLD) organization plays a crucial role in enhancing the customer search experience on Amazon’s platform. Amazon: Data Associate I (Machine Learning)
Responsibilities
As a Data Associate I in Machine Learning, your primary responsibility will be to deliver timely and accurate data annotation across various workflows. This role requires quick decision-making in adherence to provided guidelines. Key responsibilities include:
- Meeting business metrics and goals, including SLA, production, and quality targets.
- Working autonomously with minimal direction.
- Maintaining detailed records of daily work and updating trackers or workflow tools as required.
- Following SOP/guidelines or manager’s instructions to ensure quality compliance.
- Contributing to project improvement and operational excellence ideas.
- Providing timely responses to stakeholders as per defined SLAs.
- Proactively identifying and escalating issues that may impact core deliverables.
- Analyzing data, evaluating trends/patterns, and recommending generic patterns to be translated into rules.
- Willingness to work with sensitive content, such as adult content or potentially offensive products.
- Troubleshooting process-related issues and conducting root cause analysis if necessary.
- Familiarity with online retail (e-commerce).
Basic Qualifications
- Graduate or equivalent.
- Proficient in English, demonstrating language proficiency in verbal, writing, reading, and comprehension.
- Strong analytical and communication skills.
- Passion for delivering a positive customer experience and maintaining composure in challenging situations.
- Ability to complete challenging goals or assignments within defined SLAs.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of Excel.
