The Sales MIS Executive position entails collaborating with the sales team, management, and various departments to ensure seamless flow of sales data and derive meaningful insights.

Responsibilities:

Data Collection and Analysis:

  • Gather, organize, and verify sales data from diverse sources including CRM systems, sales reports, and relevant databases.
  • Analyze sales data to uncover trends, patterns, and key performance indicators (KPIs) pertaining to sales activities, customer behavior, product performance, and market trends.
  • Create reports, dashboards, and presentations to communicate sales data and analysis to management and the sales team.

Sales Reporting and Forecasting:

  • Produce regular and ad-hoc sales reports, encompassing sales performance, pipeline analysis, sales funnel evaluation, and sales forecasts.
  • Track sales metrics, targets, and quotas, offering insights on achievements, discrepancies, and areas for enhancement.
  • Assist in crafting sales forecasts and projections grounded in historical data, market trends, and other pertinent factors.

Database Management:

  • Maintain and update the CRM system and sales databases to ensure data accuracy and currency.
  • Execute data cleansing activities and uphold data integrity by periodically reviewing and validating sales data accuracy and completeness.

Sales Process Optimization:

  • Identify process enhancement opportunities, streamline sales workflows, and bolster sales efficiency in collaboration with the sales team and stakeholders.
  • Propose and implement changes to sales processes, systems, and tools to boost efficiency and productivity.

Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, finance, and other departments to gather pertinent data, align strategies, and provide analytical support.
  • Engage with IT teams to ensure smooth operation of sales-related systems and address any technical glitches.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Demonstrated experience in sales data analysis, MIS reporting, or a similar capacity.
  • Proficiency in utilizing CRM systems, data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, Power BI), and MS Office Suite and Google Sheets.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to decipher complex data and offer actionable insights.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and accuracy in data management and reporting.
  • Effective communication and presentation skills to convey complex data and analysis to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational skills with the capacity to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Familiarity with sales processes, metrics, and KPIs.
  • Knowledge of sales forecasting techniques and methodologies is advantageous.
